Hello! welcome to my next blog about *drum roll please* a biography of one of my inspirational women out there, Taylor Swift.

For FYI, I've liked her since childhood.

Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She was born on December 13, 1989, in Reading, Pennsylvania, to Andrea (Finlay), a one-time marketing executive, and Scott Kingsley Swift, a financial adviser. Her ancestry includes German and English, as well as some Scottish, Irish, Welsh and 1/16th Italian. She was named after James Taylor, and her mother believed that if she had a gender neutral name it would help her forge a business career. Taylor spent most of her childhood on an 11-acre Christmas tree farm in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. When she was nine years old the family moved to Wyomissing, PA, where she attended West Reading Elementary Center and Wyomissing Area Junior/Senior High School. Taylor spent her summers at her parents' vacation home at the Jersey shore. Her first hobby was English horse riding. Her mother put her in a saddle when she was nine months old and Swift later competed in horse shows. At the age of nine she turned her attention to musical theatre and performed in Berks Youth Theatre Academy productions of "Grease", "Annie", "Bye Bye Birdie" and "The Sound of Music". She traveled regularly to New York City for vocal and acting lessons. However, after a few years of auditioning in New York and not getting anything, she became interested in country music. At age 11, after many attempts, Taylor won a local talent competition by singing a rendition of LeAnn Rimes' "Big Deal", and was given the opportunity to appear as the opening act for Charlie Daniels at a Strausstown amphitheater. This interest in country music isolated Swift from her middle school peers.

At age 12 she was shown by a computer repairman how to play three chords on a guitar, inspiring her to write her first song, "Lucky You".

Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Swift moved to Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 14 to pursue a career in country music. She signed with the label Big Machine Records and became the youngest artist ever signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house. Her self-titled debut album in 2006 peaked at number five on the Billboard 200 and spent the most weeks on the chart in the 2000s. The album's third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008. Buoyed by the success of pop crossover singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", Fearless became the best-selling album of 2009 in the United States. The album won four Grammy Awards, with Swift becoming the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Well, that what Taylor does in her career life. Amazing right?

Taylor will be on her 29th this year. Her height is no joke, about 1,78 cm tall. That's why people call her giraffe sometimes even Taylor her self too.

Taylor already has six album so far, her debut album was "Taylor Swift" on October 2006, next up was "Fearless" on September 2008, on October 2010 with "Speak Now", "Red" was released on October 22th 2012, came back in 2014 with "1989", and her recent album that came out last year was "Reputation".

What unique about Taylor's song is that she writes most of her songs about her exes, and her songs usually tell a story.

Want to know some other facts about Taylor? Okay, I will continue to go on.

She taught her self to play a guitar.

Taylor has a younger brother named, Austin K. Swift, a photographer.

Best friends with Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran, Emma Stone, Emma Watson, Hailee Steinfeld, Lena Dunham, Karlie Kloss, and many more.

Taylor has two extremely adorable cats, named "Meredith" named after Dr. Meredith Grey from Grey's Anatomy (2005)  and "Olivia" named after Detective Olivia Benson from Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999).

Unlike most people, Taylor considers "13" her lucky number in that she was born on the 13th, turned 13 on Friday the 13th, her first album turned Gold in 13 weeks and her first #1 song had a 13-second intro.

Lastly, what makes me inspired by a girl who grew up in a chirstmas tree farm, Taylor Alison Swift, is that she never gave up on everything she love. Music, Family, Friends, and when I saw her on youtube, she never shows any sad face to her fans. Always joking here and there, and laughing so cute. Here is one of her quotes that I liked the most,

"No matter what happens in life, be good to people. Being good to people is a wonderful legacy to leave behind."

Well, maybe that's all from me in this blog. I hope you have a wonderful day, see you in my next blog!
