The Asian games is a continental multi-sport event held every four years among the athletes from all around Asia. The most recent one of this event is in Jakarta-Palembang, Indonesia, on August 18th till September 2nd. We have won several gold, silver, and bronze, but aside from how much we have won. this multi-sport event has brought many benefits to Indonesia.

First, Asian Games brought direct impact to our young generation. This event made the young ones became more passionate to revive Indonesia sports by keep supporting their favorite Indonesian athlete or becoming an athlete in the future.

Second, there are also direct impact to our economy sector. This is caused by the national branding so the promotional cost is high to visit this country. Economic values from various sectors will also be easily accepted by the state, such as in the tourism sector, the employment sector, encouraging urban development through the development of sports infrastructure.

To sum up, there are many benefits for our country after hosted the Asian Games this year. Maybe there are a whole lot more benefits that we can analyze more further. Lastly, we have to be greatfull for this, because there are so many things that we can learn from this event.
